KatipAta Turkish Language and Culture Program 2025
The applications for the KatipAta Turkish Language and Culture Program have been announced. This is a special program that the Turkish government (specifically the YTB organization) is running for foreign government officials, diplomats, professors and researchers. The goal of this program is for you to learn the Turkish language (Turkish) and get to know the culture and way of life there closely.
What’s in KatipAta Turkish Language and Culture Program?
You will be taught Turkish. Don't worry if you don't know Turkish at all, it is taught from A1 level (beginner) to B2 level (good level). Along with the language, you will also be told about the culture of Turkey. This includes seminars (small classes), tours of historical and famous places in Turkey, and workshops about traditional arts and sports there. A major goal of this program is also to build good relations between Turkey and your country. You will meet people from government agencies, think tanks, media and universities there.

Who can apply for this Program?
· You must be a public official, diplomat, lecturer or researcher.
· You must have at least 3 years of work experience in a relevant institution.
· If you have a master's or PhD degree, it is even better.
· You must be under 40 years of age.
· You must be able to speak and understand English.
· You must not be currently living in Turkey or benefiting from any other Turkish scholarship.

Who cannot apply for this Program?
Those who only want to learn Turkish for translation or secretarial work and people who already have a very good command of Turkish.
How to apply for KatipAta Turkish Language and Culture Program?
You must apply online by visiting the official website of YTB. There you will have to create your account and fill in your personal information, educational details, and work experience. The necessary documents will also have to be submitted online. The last date to apply for this program is 15 July 2025.
Selection Method:
First, your online applications will be reviewed. Those who are shortlisted will have an online interview.
