Radley College scholarship program 2026 is especially for those who have new ideas (big ideas) and have the determination to make them come true. This scholarship looks for students who have the dedication to innovate and problem-solve. This scholarship has been started to help those students who are very interested in fields like Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science, and Design Engineering. It is not just about good grades, but also about practical creativity and real-world application.

What is Radley College?

Radley College is a very famous and old boys’ boarding school in the UK. It is only for boys and the students study there. This school is very famous for its good education and sports.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)

This scholarship is for 13+ (i.e., boys entering 8th grade) and is specifically for students interested in the following fields:

  • Design Engineering
  • Robotics
  • Coding
  • Computer Science
  • Game Design

Other Eligibility Criteria:

  • You must have an entrepreneurial mindset (i.e., you are passionate about starting new businesses or projects).
  • You must demonstrate your technical ability.
  • You must be passionate about creating something new on your own and be a problem solver.
  • You must be able to communicate your ideas clearly (good communicator) and work collaboratively with others.
  • You have created a personal project that demonstrates your innovative thinking. It can be digital (such as an app or code) or physical (such as a robot or a design).
  • Important: This project must be your own creation, not just a kit (it must be an original idea). If you have extended a class project, that is fine too. If you have had help from an adult, you must clearly state how much of your work was yours.

How Will You Be Selected?

First Step (Portfolio Submission):

You must submit details of 1 or 2 specific projects you have created in a Portfolio. This portfolio will be in the form of a PDF file (maximum 10 pages). If your project is digital (such as code), you must also include screenshots and code descriptions. Portfolio submission deadline: November 3, 2025.

Second Stage (Assessment Day):

Candidates whose portfolios are considered good will be invited to an Assessment Day on 20 November 2025. On this day, you will be given written tests, your critical thinking will be assessed, and interviews will also be held.

What Will You Get in the Scholarship? (Financial Support)

This scholarship is awarded as an honorarium and does not cover the full university fees.
But the important thing is: if you receive this scholarship and you also need financial support, you can apply for "The Warden's Award". This is a means-tested funding and can waive between 10% and 100% of your fees, or in some cases, more than 100%. That is, after winning the scholarship, you also become eligible for financial support.

  • Assessment Day for shortlisted candidates: 20 November 2025

How to Apply for the Innovation Scholarship?

The application form for the "Innovation Scholarship" will be available from the end of June 2025. If you are already registered at Radley College, you will receive this form by email. If you are not registered, you can still apply for the scholarship, for this you will need to contact the college's admissions team.
