University of Szeged National Higher Education Scholarship 2025-26
National Higher Education Scholarship 2025-26 is an award from the Hungarian government and the university that is given as a reward to very good students so that they can continue their studies. It is a kind of financial support that gives you stipend every month. If you are already studying at the University Of Szeged Hungary and your grades are very good, you are also very good in studies and other activities, then this scholarship is for you to get stipend every month and give you more courage in your studies.

Who can apply? (Who can apply?)
This scholarship is only for students who are already studying at the University of Szeged. That is:
- You are studying full-time in a Bachelor's or Master's degree at the University of Szeged.
- You have completed at least two semesters of your studies (i.e. you are after the first year).
- You have obtained at least 55 credits in your studies.
- You have outstanding academic performance, i.e. your grades are very good.
- You have achieved a special achievement during your studies or in a professional work.
- You also participate in other university activities, such as sports, social work or any other extracurricular activities. (This can give you extra marks).
What are the benefits of this scholarship?
- Monthly Stipend: You will receive 40,000 Hungarian forints (HUF) per month for 10 months (i.e. for a whole academic year). This is a kind of stipend that will help you cover some of your expenses. (They are estimated to be around 100 euros, but in Hungary they are quite helpful).
- Honors and recognition: This is a Hungarian national-level scholarship, which is a recognition of your excellent performance.
- Learning opportunity: You will have the opportunity to continue your studies in a better way without financial worries.

How to apply?
- Online application: You will have to apply on the online platform of the University of Szeged called "Modulo".
- Documents: You will have to submit details and evidence about your academic performance, credits obtained, and you’re other achievements with the application form.

The application deadline for the 2025/2026 academic year is by July 7, 2025.

Yes, this scholarship is also for international students, provided that they are full-time students at the University of Szeged and meet all the eligibility requirements listed above.
