International students who apply for this Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) invitation program will be provided with the following list of benefits:
· Students will get the benefit of tuition fee support.
· Applicant will get the support of round trip airfare.
· Students will be provided with the monthly allowance for living expenses.
· Benefit of medical health insurance for the international students.
· A one-time settlement allowance will be provided as well.
Eligibility Requirements For GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) Invitation Program 2023-2024:
Given below are the GKS invitation program eligibility requirements that the students have to meet to be eligible for this program:
· Undergraduate students from the developing countries are eligible to apply.
· Those students who are currently in South Korea are not eligible for this program.
· Students must hold the foreign nationality.
· Those students who have completed their two semester at least in foreign university are eligible to apply.
· Students from the universities which are the partner universities of GKS invitation program are eligible to apply.
· Students who wants to apply must have good score percentile of 80% or more out of a 100 point scale.
· Any student having dual nationality are not eligible for the program.
· Students who have received scholarship are not eligible for the additional scholarship.
· Those students who have completed one course at least and that course is related to Korean culture or Korean language.
· Those students who have not received scholarship previously from the Korean government.

Global Korea Scholarship Invitation Program 2023-2024 Selection Procedure:
The selection of the applicants for this invitation program is done in the following way:
· First the universities are selected by the NIIED for the invitation program.
· Once the universities have been selected such universities have to recommend the eligible applicants.
· The applicants are recommended to the NIIED for the selection.
· NIIED perform the final selection and select the applicants for this scholarship program.
Duration Of GKS Invitation Program For International Students:
Students will get the support of scholarship for this GKS invitation program for the duration of 10 months for two semester or for the duration of 4 months for one semester or for the winter or summer duration for the credit coursework. So the duration is either 10 months or 4 months for the international students to participate in this invitation program.
