Sabanci University Graduate Scholarship 2022-2023

Sabanci University provides graduate program scholarships 2020-2023 for the students to pursue their education from the Sabanci University which is one of the top private university of Turkey located in Istanbul. In each academic year Sabanci University offers number of scholarships to the students of graduate program. Student are selected for the scholarship when they enrolled in any of the degree program being offered at Sabanci University.

Graduate students are accepted for the scholarships program once they are admitted in graduate program and are evaluated on the basis of their academic record by the selection committee. There are number of scholarships programs that are offered by the Sabanci University to those students who are accepted for the master or doctorate degree program at the Sabanci University.

Types Of Scholarships Offered At Sabanci University:

Students who got selected at the Sabanci University for their master or doctorate program are offered with one of the following scholarship for the academic year of 2022-2023:

1) Full Scholarship Program:

This scholarship provides graduate students number of benefits. In this scholarship program graduate students full tuition fee is covered, students will get monthly stipends and dormitory support is also provided to the students under this scholarship program.

·         Master Program Students Will Get:

Monthly stipend for 10 months as well a double dormitory room for two students for 10 months.

·         PhD Program Students Will Get:

Monthly stipend for the time period of 12 months as well a double or single dormitory for 12 months. If the PhD students passed the qualifying exam their monthly stipend might get increased.

·         Tuition Fee Exemption:

Graduate students can get one of the following tuition fee exemption benefit under the full scholarship program:

·         Students might get full tuition fee exemption.

·         Students might get 2/3 tuition fee exemption.

·         Students might get 1/2 tuition fee exemption.

·         Students might get 1/4 tuition fee exemption.

2) Full Tuition Fee Exemption And Dormitory Scholarship Program:

Under this scholarship program students who got accepted for the graduate degree program at the Sabanci University for the master or doctorate programs are offered with full tuition fee exemption scholarship. Students under this scholarship program will also get the dormitory support. For master students the support is for the period of 10 months and for PhD students the support is for 12 months.

3) Tubitak BIDEB Scholarship Program:

Students of master degree program and PhD degree program who have obtained full scholarship in domestic are given the full tuition fee exemption support and a support for the dormitory. A double dormitory room for the master students is allocated for the time period of 10 months and a single if available or a double dormitory room for the PhD students is allocated for the time period of 12 months.

4) Project Scholarship Program:

This scholarship program is designed for the research students who want to pursue their research work. This scholarship program is provided to the students who are working in the research field with some research work. A monthly stipend is given to the research students under this scholarship program. Masters students doing research work are given the dormitory room for 10 months and PhD students are given dormitory room for 12 months.

If a monthly stipend that is given to the doctoral student who are doing research work in public research projects such as TUBITAK is less than the monthly stipend given by the Sabanci University under full scholarship program the difference between the stipends will be covered by the university.

5) Others Scholarship Programs For The Students:

There are some other scholarships program that are offered to the PhD students apart from those which are mentioned above. Every year Sabanci University also offered following scholarships:

1)      Each year one PhD student who has good contribution for the university is provided with the Aysegol Arsoy Scholarship program. This scholarship program provides the student with the benefits of:

·         Monthly stipend is given to the student for 12 months.

·         Student tuition fee is exempted.

·         Student will get the dormitory fee exemption.

 

2)      The graduate school of management provides Işık İnselbağ scholarship to the PhD student with the excellent achievements. This scholarship program provides:

·         Monthly stipend for 12 months.

·         Dormitory fee exemption for 12 months.

·         Tuition fee exemption for the duration of 12 months.

 

3)      The graduate school of social provides İsmail Serhat Oğuz scholarship to the successful economics master student. This scholarship program provide following benefits:

·         Student tuition fee exemption for 10 months.

·         Student dormitory fee exemption for 10 months.

·         Monthly stipend for 10 months.

Sabanci University Graduate Scholarship Selection Criteria:

Students applying for the Sabanci University graduate scholarship 2022-2023 are selected on the basis of the mentioned selection criteria. Students are selected for the scholarship on the following basis:

·         Students academic record should be good enough to be eligible.

·         Students test results such as GRE are also evaluated.
