Tangiwai School Leaver Scholarship 2023

The scholarship applications for the Wellington Tangiwai School Leaver Scholarship 2023 for Excellence has been announced by the Victoria University of Wellington for the students. This scholarship program is the opportunity for the school leaver students to continue their education. The main purpose of this scholarship program is to encourage the students with good academic background to show their talent to become future scholar.

The scholarship is awarded to the students on the basis of their academic performance and their attributes like the leadership skills for the benefit of the community. The scholarship is provided to the students which will cover their cost for the accommodation or in the form of stipend.

Tangiwai School Leaver Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

Students who want to apply for the Tangiwai School Leaver Scholarship 2023 should have to meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship program:

·         Student who are citizen of New Zealand can apply for this scholarship program.

·         International students and permanent resident of New Zealand can also apply.

·         Applicant applying for this scholarship must have completed at least two years including 12 and 13 year at secondary school of New Zealand.

·         Applicant have to make sure that they have NCEA level 2 certificate to be eligible.

·         Student have to be enrolled as a full time applicant in the undergraduate degree program at Victoria University of Wellington to be considered for this scholarship.

·         Any applicant applying for this scholarship must have completed year 13 or be in year 13.

·         Student who have taken a gap year can also apply for this scholarship.

·         Students who have equivalent level of achievement in some alternative qualification such as Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), or Rudolph Steiner qualifications are also eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

·         Students who have participated in school exchange program for the period of 6 months instead of year 13 can also apply.

Note:

The scholarship provided to the student is conditional to the student full time enrollment in the undergraduate degree program at Victoria University of Wellington and Student have to meet the GPA score requirement otherwise no scholarship will be offered to the student.

Student Selection Criteria For Scholarship:

·         In this scholarship program students are selected on the basis of their academic record.

·         Students having good academic achievements are considered good candidate for this scholarship.

·         School leaver student who hold good achievements are supported by this scholarship to continue their first undergraduate degree program at Victoria University of Wellington.

·         The undergraduate selection committee of Victoria University of Wellington makes the selection of the students.

·         The selection committee review the application of each candidate and then select those candidate who have good academic profile and record.

·         The scholarships are awarded on the basis of the selection criteria.

The last date to apply for Wellington Tangiwai School Leavers Scholarship 2023 is 1 September 2022.
