In order to apply for the GKS scholarship there are two tracks or you can say methods one of which is called embassy track. In embassy track the student apply for the GKS scholarship by submitting their GKS scholarship 2023 application form in Korean embassy located in their country. The Korean embassy receive the student’s applications for the scholarship and start the selection procedure for the students. So in simple the method through which we apply for the GKS scholarship by submitting applications in the Korean embassy is called embassy track.

GKS Scholarship 2023 Embassy Track Documents Required:
If you are applying for the GKS scholarship 2023 though embassy track make sure you have submitted the following list of documents:
1. GKS scholarship 2023 application form.
2. A strong personal statement.
3. A good study plan explaining your future study plan in Korea.
4. Letter of recommendation from a person who know you very well he might be your supervisor or teacher.
5. GKS scholarship applicant agreement form.
6. Applicant personal medical assessment form.
7. Applicant Academic documents.
8. Any award or achievement certificate if available.
9. English language test proficiency certificate if available.
10. TOPIK level certificate if available.
How Many Set Of Documents To Submit In Embassy Track?
If you are planning to apply for the GKS scholarship 2023 through embassy track then you have to submit the 4 sets of documents. One original set of document and three photocopy set of documents of original set.
GKS Scholarship 2023 Embassy Track Applying Procedure:
1. Fill your GKS scholarship 2023 application form correctly.
2. Attach all the required documents with your application form which are necessary.
3. After completing the GKS scholarship 2023 application form place it along with all the necessary documents in an envelope and mentioned the Korean embassy address on it.
4. Send or dispatched the complete GKS scholarship envelope carrying your documents to the embassy.
GKS Scholarship Embassy Track 2023 Selection Procedure:
Once you have applied for the GKS scholarship through embassy track then you have to wait for the selection result. The embassy track select candidates after three rounds of selection.
1. First the embassy itself shortlist the candidates who have applied for the scholarship program. Once embassy shortlist the candidates it recommend those candidates to NIEED.
2. Now the NIIED do the second round of selection by further shortlisting the eligible candidates and forward the name of those further shortlisted candidates to the mentioned universities.
3. Inside third round the universities make final selection of the candidates for the scholarship and once the universities have done their selection they forward their name to NIIED and at last the NIIED make the official announcement of the final selected candidate for the scholarship program.
Note:
Any student who have applied for the GKS scholarship program through embassy track can also apply through the university track if their application have not passed the embassy track first round of selection.
