GKS scholarship new program called GKS UIC Scholarship 2023 is a scholarship program that provide scholarship opportunity to the undergraduate and associate degree students. This scholarship program is offered for the undergraduate and associate degree program students in collaboration with university industry cooperation.

GKS-UIC Scholarship Duration:

The duration of GKS-UIC scholarship program is 5 years for undergraduate (bachelor) degree program. Consisting 4 years of undergraduate degree program and 1 year of Korean language program. Whereas the duration of scholarship for associate degree program is 3 years consisting 1 year of Korean language program and 2 years of associate degree program. Some associate degree program can be of 3 years so in that case the duration is 4 years.

GKS-UIC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

The international students who want to apply for the GKS-UIC scholarship program have to make sure that they meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship program:

·         Applicant should not hold Korean nationality.

·         Applicant parents also not hold the Korean nationality.

·         Applicant should have 12 years of education to apply for the undergraduate degree.

·         Applicant should hold the score percentile of 80% or above on 100 point scale.

·         Make sure you hold the CGPA of above 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, 3.23/5.0 to be eligible for this scholarship program.

·         Student applying for this scholarship should be under 25 years of age.

·         Applicant holding associate degree program can apply for the bachelor degree program.

·         Applicant can apply for bachelor degree or associate degree program if graduated from high school.

·         Applicant must apply to one university. The application of applicant applying to more than one university will not be considered.

·         When applying applicant must choose one degree program. The application of applicant applying to more than one degree program will not be considered.

There are three steps involved in the GKS-UIC scholarship selection procedure:

1.       First the university itself will select the eligible candidates and recommend them to NIIED.

2.       The NIIED will further short list the candidates selected by each university.

3.       The NIIED will announced the final selected candidates.
