What Documents Are Required To Apply For The GKS Undergraduate Scholarship 2022-2023?
Following are the list of documents that are required to apply for this scholarship:
1. Matriculation certificate.
2. Intermediate certificate.
3. GKS scholarship 2022 application form.
4. Personal statement of student also called statement of purpose.
5. Study plan representing the complete academic plan of student in Korea.
6. 2 or 1 letter of recommendation from the teacher or supervisor.
7. GKS scholarship applicant agreement form.
8. Student medical assessment form is also required.
9. Applicant and its parents proof of citizenship representing that they are not the citizen of Korea also required.
10. Any document received as reward or achievement is optional.
11. IELTS, TOEFL, and TOPIK scores are optional and are not mandatory.

How Much Scholarship Awards Are Available?
The number of scholarship awards under Global Korea Scholarship is not fixed means each year the number of scholarship awards changes so there is no exact number that how much the scholarship awards will be offered. Bet however if we talk about the scholarship awards, then these number varies according to the track you choose. Last year through embassy track Korean government invites about 125 international applicants from 67 different countries who want to pursue bachelor degree in Korea. But in university track Korean government invites 60 international applicants from 72 different countries who want to pursue bachelor degree in Korea and 35 international applicants from 17 different countries who want to pursue associate degree program in Korea.
Duration of GKS Undergraduate Scholarship 2022-2023:
The duration of this scholarship is different for each level of study which you want to study. So as you know under the Global Korea Undergraduate scholarship 2022-23 program you can study only bachelor level degree programs and associate degree program. The duration for the bachelor level degree program is 5 years which include 4 years of your degree program and 1 year of Korean language course program. Its mean if you are planning to apply for the undergraduate degree program you degree will be completed with time period of 5 years including the language course as well which is also fully funded.
Eligibility Criteria for the GKS Undergraduate Scholarship 2022-23 Is:
So to be eligible for the GKS scholarship 2022 you must meet the following criteria to consider yourself to be eligible for this scholarship:
· All International students from different countries can apply for this scholarship.
· An applicant age must be below 25 years of age.
· An applicant must have 80% marks in the last education standard passed from the institution.
· Students should not hold the Korean nationality.
· Parents of applicant should also not hold the Korean nationality.
· Students previously holding GKS scholarship should not be eligible to apply.
· Any applicant who is applying for this scholarship should not hold dual nationality.
· If a student is applying for the GKS undergraduate program then he or she must have the 12th and 10th standard certificates.
· If the result of such students who have given the 12th standard exam is not yet announced then he or she must provide the expected passing certificate.
· Applicant should be both mentally and physically fit with and must have medical clearance reports.
· IELTS and TOEFL scores are not mandatory means they are optional if students provide such test scores it can be beneficial for the students during the scholarship selection process.
· Korean language certificate is also not mandatory mean it’s optional as well. So you can apply for this scholarship if you don’t have TOPIK scores.

Last Date to Apply For the GKS Undergraduate Scholarship 2022:
The deadline of GKS scholarship 2022 is not announced yet. Although the scholarships for undergraduate programs are opened in the month of September each year and close in the month of October. So its mean you have still enough time to get yourself prepare to apply for this scholarship. Once the scholarship applications are opened the deadline is decide by the each country. So its mean there is no exact deadline when this scholarship will close it vary from country to country. Application Procedure of GKS Scholarship 2022:
There are two different methods through which you can apply for this scholarship. One of which is called embassy track and another one is called university track. Both of these tracks have its own application process and selection procedures so it’s better that you should understand the difference between these tracks before applying for this scholarship and then decide which track to choose.
· Embassy Track:
In embassy track you submit your all documents mentioned above to the embassy along with the application form. In embassy track you have to submit four sets of documents one set of original apostilled or consular confirmed documents and three photocopy set of the original documents. In embassy track there are three rounds of selection before you can win the scholarship. In the first round the embassy of your country short list the eligible candidates and passed the name of such eligible candidates to the NIIED. In the second round of selection NIIED make the selection of candidate recommended by the embassy. After selection of candidate by the NIIED the name of selected candidates are passed to the universities whose name are provide by the students. And at last the desired mentioned universities select the students based on the eligibility criteria and recommend them to NIIED and then NIIED announce the final result of selected candidates.
· University Track:
In university track the students submit its documents along with the application form to only one university in which the students want to study. Applicant have to use the courier service to send their documents to the desired university. In university track there are only two rounds of selection. In the first round the desired university short list the candidates and recommend the name of such candidates to the NIIED. The NIIED do the second round of selection of the candidate and recommend there name to the university the university then do the final round of selection and notify the NIIED about the final name and then NIIED announce the final result of selected candidate for the scholarship.
